The PVCu profile used in our windows and doors has much softer lines and curves previously enjoyed by people with wooden windows. However, what only PVCu customers can appreciate is the low maintenance and high performance ratings achieved by PVCu.

Rehau, one of Europe's leading polymer producers, has been manufacturing profiles for PVCu windows for over 40 years. No other European window systems manufacturer has anything like the breadth of experience. Rehau's expertise in the field of window design and PVCu technology comes from manufacturing a vast range of polymer products, from car bumpers to artificial heart valves.

In addition to in-house tests, all Rehau systems are tested by independent bodies such as the British Standards Institute (BSI) and the British Board Of Agrément (BBA). Quality control is paramount with all factories operating to EN ISO 9001 (formerly BS 5750).

Rehau 70mm Casement Windows Specification

Weatherstrips And Gaskets:
Twin compression seals in EPDM. Ensure excellent air & watertightness even after many years of use, which exceed the requirement of BS4255 and BS7412.
Friction Stays:
Stainless steel, friction hinges. BBA approved.
Lock System:
Mushroom Espagnolette (standard). Maco face mounted. Espagnolette/shootbolt. Locking mechanism dependant on sash size upto 6 points of locking. Conforms to BS7950.
Handles:
White powder coated die cast zinc alloy. Push release key to lock. Non locking handles fitted to fire escape windows.

Rehau 70mm Door Specification

Weatherstrips And Gaskets:
Twin compression seals in EPDM. Ensure excellent air & watertightness even after many years of use, which exceed the requirement of BS4255 and BS7412.
Hinges:
3 x flag hinges with 6mm stainless steel hinge bolt  fully adjustable.
Lock Mechanism:
GU 2 hook, 2 roller multipoint lock with deadbolt and centre latch.
Handles:
White powder coated die cast zinc alloy handle. Push release key to lock. Lacquered Gold also available (bespoke only)
Door Cylinder:
6 pin anti pick in nickle plate or brass.

Master Door: GU 2 hook lock with latch, dead bolt 2 roller cams.
Slave Door: S/bolts top and bottom - double handle.
Both sashes have working handles with anti pick 6 pin keyed alike barrels.
Handles:
White powder coated die cast zinc alloy handle. Push release key to lock. Lacquered Gold also available (bespoke only)
Door Cylinder:
